Atmospheric advent market

Visitors can look forward to a variety of traditional handicraft products made by small, regional suppliers: Handmade pottery and clay products add to the extraordinary jewelry design, hand-knitted products, rural nativity scenes – and much more.

The advent market offers connoisseurs all sorts of regional delicacies and drinks, including a hearty Speckbrot (bacon bread), selected game specialties, sweet and sour donuts, candy and cookies. The musical accompaniment of wind players and singers contributes to an incredible atmosphere. Our younger visitors always love the arts and crafts program and cookie-baking activities in the rock cellar!

The Advent market at Mauterndorf Castle opens on Saturday, December 2nd. and Sunday, December 3rd. and on Friday December 8th. Saturday 9.12. and Sunday, December 10th, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Program items at a glance

On all opening days:

1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: Atmospheric tunes and Christmas music.

2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: Supervised children's program with baking cookies, Christmas crafts and a reading and games corner.
