The company responsible for processing your personal data on our website is Salzburger Burgen & Schlösser Betriebsführung. You can find our information in the legal notice.
Collection, processing, and use of personal data
In general, our website can be used without providing any personal data. Insofar as any personal information, such as names, addresses, or email addresses, is collected on our site, this will be done on a voluntary basis whenever possible. These data will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent.
We have collected your personal data on the basis of an existing business relationship (ticket sales / e-ticketing, enquiry form, event) or on the basis of given consent (e.g. newsletter distribution). Your title, first name, surname, e-mail address, country, address, telephone number, company, and information depending on your method of payment in our online shop (credit cards, PayPal, account details for direct bank transfer) will be processed until you revoke consent. Wirecardbank is responsible for credit card payments. https://www.wirecardbank.de/DSGVO
You are under no legal or contractual obligation to provide personal data. Failure to provide personal data will only mean that we cannot process your request, that you cannot purchase a ticket, or that we cannot inform you of any changes, for instance in the event that you have purchased a ticket.
Data storage: until consent is revoked; at least 7 years in the case of business relations. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties, with the exception of typical business recipients who receive the data for this purpose in order to provide their services, e.g. tax consultants, banks, website operators, credit card companies, clearing houses of payment providers.
You have the right to view your personal data, as well as the right to correct it, delete it, or restrict its processing, and the right to data portability. Furthermore, you have the right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority (Austrian Data Protection Authority, 40-42 Barichgasse, 1030 Vienna, email@example.com).
Photos of guests/event photography
The image data are processed for the purpose of reporting on the events staged by Salzburg Burgen & Schlösser Betriebsführung on the basis of the GDPR, §12 of the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) 2000, and subject to your consent to publication. We handle photos of children and young people with particular sensitivity and ask parents/guardians for separate consent.
You are under no obligation to give consent. Failure to give your consent will only mean that you will not be photographed.
Image data may be passed on to media companies, social media platforms, and similar services.
Access data/server log files
We automatically collect the information automatically provided by your internet browser and store it in our log files. This includes:
- Browser type / version,
- operating system used,
- referrer URL (the previously visited website),
- the host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
- the time of the server request,
- the amount of data transferred and
- report as to whether the access attempt was successful.
Users' IP addresses will be erased or anonymised after cessation of use. In the case that the IP addresses are anonymised, they are changed in such a way that details of personal or material circumstances can no longer only be associated with an identified or identifiable natural person or can only be associated with an identified or identifiable natural person with a disproportionate investment of time, cost, and labour. The data in the log files are analysed by us in an anonymous form in order to further improve the website, make it more user-friendly, and to find and correct errors more quickly. In addition, they are used to control server capacities so that appropriate data volumes can be made available if necessary.
