Fortress Hohensalzburg offers a comprehensive range of museums and exhibitions. As well as the fascinating Fortress Museum, visitors can also walk around the Rainer Regiment Museum, the Marionette Museum and the new exhibition in the armoury.
Art is everywhere! Atelier Hödlmoser is a studio in the courtyard of the fortifications and, in cooperation with the Traklhaus, hosts changing exhibitions – including ‘The Male Sphaera’ by Stefan Balkenhol and ‘The Fallen Star’ by Paul Wallach.

Fortress Hohensalzburg is offering visitors unrestricted access to the facility from 29th May. The wearing of a mask or visor covering the mouth and nose is obligatory in all indoor areas.
