Exhibitions in the former Hödlmoser-Atelier
Since 2006 “Kunst im Traklhaus” has been cooperating with the administration of Fortress Hohensalzburg and, in the summer, has presented short exhibitions in the former Hödlmoser Atelier. The exhibition program has attracted immense interest among artists, audiences and fortress visitors and is to continue in this vein. The exhibition room was previously the studio of the painter, Sepp Hödlmoser, who lived in Salzburg from 1923 to 1967. The artists on show are on site every day during the opening times of the exhibitions, from 13.00 to 16.00, and occasionally take the opportunity to work there, too. The artists are selected, and the exhibitions organized, by the Fortress Hohensalzburg management team and the Land Salzburg Department of Culture. Artists can submit applications to exhibit here and documentary evidence of their work, such as catalogs, photos, printouts, biographies (but not CDs and DVDs) should be sent to the management of Fortress Hohensalzburg.
