4. Mice conquer the Residenz

Mice at the Residenz - that's impossible! Or is it? Recently, a group of mice was spotted running through the prince archbishops' state rooms!

But what are they doing there? They must be looking for the gigantic cheese that supposedly hidden in the Residenz. But with all those rooms, it's hard to find the cheese.

Especially when you have to be careful not to get caught, and so many dangers are lurking: you have to look out for the archbishop's dogs. And you never know if there are humans in the state rooms about to come in - after all, the Residenz is the place where the prince archbishop invites important people, has celebrations or holds an audience. Of course the mice must tiptoe through the prince archbishop's private chambers. If they are very quiet, they can even hear him snoring.

At the end they'll find the big cheese and dance around the cheese to celebrate. The goal of this new, educational tour is to give children a first impression of the life of the prince archbishops at the Residenz. To make sure the children do not get tired on their tour of thirteen rooms, they will stop for a short break in certain rooms. Their attention will be drawn to the room's special features while historic tales will acquaint them with life at the royal court in Salzburg.
